About The Tenacious Flower

I was walking home from dropping my children off at school one day when I spotted a dandelion growing out of the driveway crack. I thought out loud, “Now that’s a tenacious flower.” And at that very moment a seed was planted in my mind.

The story began to unravel and the words demanded I take note. The more I wrote the more that came. During lunch... while bathing my kids... until finally I had reached the end and needed to tie it all up with a neat little moral. It didn’t feel finished though and I “shelved” the story I had just written.

I held “The Tenacious Flower” story close to my heart and only shared it with a few select people who would later help me edit my work. A friend shared her own dream and story with me. She encouraged me to polish up my manuscript and send it out to the world. After that, every time I decided to set this story aside a little spark would show up to reignite my desire to push the project further. 

I have a great desire to publish “The Tenacious Flower,” because I believe the message of spreading hope and joy is needed right now and it resonates with what mankind is searching for.

I will patiently wait for these seeds to grow and see when and where Dandy Lion & Bella will take root, flourish and bloom.
